Some memories stay with you no matter how much time passes. For us, the memory that changed everything was the brief but meaningful life of our daughter. During that time, we received a small wooden name announcement disk. It was simple and understated, yet it held so much love. The moment we held it, we understood how powerful a keepsake can be when it represents a person and a story.
That was the beginning of Journey Me This. We didn’t plan it in a strategic way. We simply wanted to create pieces that carried memories the way that one disk carried ours. Something thoughtful. Something lasting.
Now, we create wooden keepsakes for families celebrating new babies, remembering loved ones, marking milestones, or gifting something that carries a piece of their heart. We put time and intention into every engraving because these pieces are meant to be held, displayed, and kept close.
When someone receives an order from us, we hope it feels like care. Our work is personal. It always has been.
In our own home, we are building small traditions with our son. Some come from our childhoods, and others are new. We hope he grows up surrounded by joy, peace, and love. That is the foundation of Journey Me This too: a place where memories are honored, stories are shared, and the moments that shape us are treated with tenderness.
